Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and Trip Preparation
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu by private vehicle. After hotel check-in, you can relax and recover from your journey.
In the afternoon or evening, you will meet your trekking guide for a trip briefing session. During this meeting, the guide will explain the trekking route, safety guidelines, altitude precautions, and required equipment for the journey. Any necessary trekking permits and documentation will also be finalized.
You may also have free time to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, a popular tourist area known for trekking shops, restaurants, and cafes. This is a good opportunity to purchase or rent any last-minute trekking gear.
The day ends with a welcome dinner and preparation for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay at a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
After breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s cultural landmarks including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
These UNESCO heritage sites reflect Nepal’s rich cultural and religious heritage. In the afternoon, finalize trekking permits and prepare necessary gear. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Early morning flight from Kathmandu to Tenzing–Hillary Airport, one of the most scenic airports in the world.
After arrival, the trek begins through beautiful mountain trails and Sherpa villages until reaching Phakding. Overnight stay in a tea house.
